Tusayan Hotels and Motels
Many visitors to the stunning Grand Canyon choose to stay in the small town of Tusayan, which is located at the south rim entrance of Grand Canyon National Park. Drawn here by beautiful and mystifying images of this natural red-rock wonder, visitors to Tusayan can take in the Grand Canyon's breathtaking vistas or explore its depths by following its many trails blow the rim.
GRAND CANYON AREA ACCOMMODATION
While visiting the park and area around the Grand Canyon, the accommodation choices increase the farther away from the canyon one is located. There are rustic lodge options within the national park boundary in Grand Canyon Village but if visitors are looking for modern hotel-style lodging, Tusayan provides the nearest place to stay just outside the park. For more accommodation options, albeit farther away, tourists can consider hotels and motels in Williams, which is 58 mi (93 km) to the south and located along the legendary Route 66.
